TORONTO - October 10, 2022 - SpaceRyde (“Company”), the company building the first network of rockets between the Earth and the Moon, announced today that Negar Feher, an accomplished Space professional, has been named the company’s CRO, effective October 11, 2022.

Feher most recently worked as the VP of Business Development at Momentus Space (NASDAQ:MNTS), a U.S. commercial space company that plans to offer transportation and other in-space infrastructure services, where she led business growth from pre-seed to public offering. During her time at Momentus, she introduced a new last mile logistic service model, established market fit and filled a robust revenue stream of customer contracts.

“Negar is a leader in the industry and has had a hand in many space companies’ successes. She has unique skills that combine deep technical knowledge and amazing business acumen, which is incredibly valuable for any space company. We’re excited she is bringing her expertise to SpaceRyde,” exclaims SpaceRyde’s CEO Sohrab Haghighat. “From her experiences of scaling early-stage startups to public companies to her tenure in introducing unique customer segments to the market, she will be an asset to our team. SpaceRyde is opening Space to everyone, not only satellite operators, but also a new set of customers that are working on utilizing Space in exciting ways. We couldn’t imagine a better person taking the lead on SpaceRyde’s next phase of commercialization and onboarding the customers.”

Feher holds a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Stanford University and began her career as a research analyst at NASA and then as an engineer at Lockheed Martin Space Systems and Maxar Technologies. While at Maxar Technologies, she shifted her career path to apply her deep technical knowledge to the business side of Space. Feher has proven business acumen through the profitable adoption of her strategies, new market and customer segments, and product offerings.

“I’m thrilled to be joining one of the leading edge and most sustainable space companies in the world,” says Negar Feher. “SpaceRyde will revolutionize space transportation by offering not only the best value but also the most customizable space missions you could envision, allowing customers the ultimate flexibility without compromising on price.”

Feher is an active member of SSPI-WISE, the female-led subsidiary to Space’s largest, most international and cross-disciplinary network of individuals and companies that focuses on engaging women in the space and satellite industry through mentorship. Feher serves on the board and leads the Elevating Women working group to grow more women in the Satellite and Space sector into leadership roles.

“Negar’s skills and achievements speak for themselves, and we are especially excited to have her with us at this time when SpaceRyde is ready to serve customers. We have a backlog of customers Negar will be working with to onboard. I am also ecstatic to welcome another talented woman to our team,” says SpaceRyde COO Saharnaz Safari. “As a company, we are committed to Canada’s 50-30 Challenge, which calls on organizations to increase representation and inclusion of diverse groups within their workplace. Women represent 50% of our executive team, a rare occasion in the technology and space industries. We hope that with Negar joining our team, we can continue encouraging more women to join us in our mission of equitable space transportation.”

Feher will represent SpaceRyde at Silicon Valley Space Week from October 11-14, 2022. To set a meeting, email
